Calendar

I call this application a High-Quality application meaning it solves a problem and/or brings a feature to the Zune that is currently not there. I’m hoping on getting this application to the marketplace so that I can use the keyboard instead of the crummy one that I made. *UPGRADING WILL NOT DELETE ANY EVENTS YOU HAVE, THEY WILL CARRY OVER*

We have added many new features to 1.0.2, many of which were requested. If there are any requests for a specific feature or enhancement of a current feature let us know!

New in 1.0.2:

  1. White mode, Place 3 fingers on the screen (or more) to switch between the modes.
  2. Settings, Default view: Show a specific view when the application is started, Use last content: Uses the most recent event to fill in the content for a new event.
  3. Date selectors now default to the current date.
  4. Back button works on almost all screens.
  5. Month view, Added week names to top,
Switch between months by pressing on the month and year at the top of the screen.

Let us know if there is any other feature you would like to see!

  1. O it’s really simple.

Before anything happens, you will need to install XNA Game Studio 3.1 and Zune Extensions. You will also need Visual Studio C# Express Edition. All of which are free you can find them on Microsoft.com/Downloads. You will also need to add your device to your XNA Device Center.

First, download the .zip file for the version you want (perfuably 1.0.2)

Second, unzip the .zip file. Inside that .zip file you will find a file called Calendar HD 1.0.2.ccgame.

Third, Double-click or Open the .ccgame file.

Fourth, Be sure that the platform is Zune (YOURZUNENAME) then press unpack!

Simple as that. Granted you will have to install a few pieces of software, but once that is done it won’t need to be done again, plus neither program will bug you about updates. Let us know if you have any problems.

  2. This is truly a great app. I only wish it had the Zune keyboard and didn’t reset the Zune when exited… Eventually it may make it’s way on to the Zune App Marketplace or even the Windows 7 App Marketplace. Keep up the good work!
